The land trust has 3 small islets and mainland conservation easements on properties and is monitoring them to be sure the important biodiversity is protected.  A small team of volunteers equipped with notepads, cameras and GPS units walks the properties at different times of the year.  Over the long term, such properties are benchmarks for change in the ecology of the region.

working with several property owners to explore their interests and needs for conservation strategies. These may include donations and easements. Properties of special value to this region are sometimes large and sometimes as small as a tiny island.
