Come out to the Deer Ridge Drive property to learn about nutrient cycling in forests and grasslands. Beginning at 5:00 pm, we’ll show you how plants can be some of the best recyclers on Earth, how a fallen log can actually contribute more to the ecosystem than a living tree, and how lightning strikes actually help plants grow!
