When you support TIWLT, you are literally supporting 4ever… FOREVER!

That’s a huge promise but that is what we do. We don’t try to preserve all properties in the watershed, just the ones that are ecologically significant. We work with willing owners who wish to bequeath significant properties, or buy ones that are on the market. Purchasing properties is more capital intensive, from raising the purchase dollars, to creating a fund that generates enough returns to pay the taxes on the property … 4ever.

Once we do acquire a property though … it will remain protected… 4ever!

Most of the world has agreed to protect 30% of land by 2030. In our area … we are only at 5%, so we are always busy raising funds. We thank people like yourselves, who give generously to save the heart and soul of our area. Remember too, that as a registered Canadian charity, TIWLT will issue a tax receipt for your donation to apply against future income taxes.
